25 arrested in drug sweep

The results of a six month investigation ended last week with undercover law enforcement investigators leading the way for the arrest of 25 suspects on a variety of drug-related charges.
Operation Street Sweeper targeted narcotic dealer throughout Sumter County . The Special Investigations Unit made undercover purchases for cocaine, methamphetamine, crack, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and marijuana,
The arrests started early in January and at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, officers of the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Wildwood Police Department began picking up fugitives as a result of the investigation.
This six month investigation (Operation Street Sweeper) targeted narcotic dealers throughout Sumter County.
The Special Investigations Unit made undercover narcotic purchases for cocaine, methamphetamine, crack, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and marijuana.
 “Drug enforcement has been a priority since I took office and will continue to be as long as I am sheriff,” said Sheriff Bill Farmer. “We have all seen how drugs destroy lives. It also leads to other crimes such as thefts and burglaries.”
Those arrested in the operation are:
Sheldon R. Graham, 20, Wildwood, sale and possession of cocaine and unlawful use of two-way device. Bond at $10,000.
Kayla Ann Avera, 23, Oxford, sale and possession of methamphetamine, keeping drug shop vehicle. Bond at $60,500.
James Lawton Gay, 54, Wildwood, delivery of controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, keeping place for use or sale. Bond at $40,000.
Dandy Michelle Young, 28, Bushnell, arrested for delivery of controlled substance, possession of oxycodone, keeping a place for use/sale of drugs. Bond at $40,500.
Adam Corey Demarest, 22, Webster, sale and possession of methamphetamine, keeping place for use/sale of drugs, sale and possession of intent to sell hydrocodone. Bond at $81,000.
Travis Lamar Samuels, 26, Wildwood, sale and possession of crack cocaine and keeping a place for use/sale of drugs. Bond at $121,000.
Adam Dujuan Winton, 19, Bushnell, sale and possession of methamphetamine. Bond at $40,000.
Christopher P. Lorenz, 55, Wildwood, sale and possession of oxycodone, unlawful use of two-way device, keeping a drug shop. Bond at $45,500.
Rueben N. Barron, 27, Coleman, sale and possession of cocaine and keeping drug shop. Bond at $60,500.
Reginald D. Patterson, 38, Wildwood, fleeing to elude officer, sale and possession of marijuana, unlawful two-way device, and keeping drug shop. Bond at $187,500.
Justin R. Lowery, 30, Bushnell, arrested for sale and possession of marijuana and cocaine. No bond.
Darrell M. Johnson Jr., 28, sale and possession of cocaine, keeping a drug shop. Bond at $121,000.
Garrion J. Corbin, 29, Wildwood, sale and possession of cocaine, keeping a drug shop, violation of probation. No bond.
Rex Eugene Dykes, 41, Coleman, arrested for sale and possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of two-way communication device, keeping a drug shop. Bond at $131,000.
Kevin Dale Williams, 35, Wildwood, arrested for sale and possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of two way communication device. Bond at $90,000.
Brook Brittingham, 32, Webster, arrested for sale and possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of two-way communication, keeping drug shop and violation of probation. No bond.
Ronald Dorobkowski, 55, Bushnell, arrested for trafficking in hydrocodone and possession of hydrocodone, unlawful use of two way device, keeping a shop for drugs, sale and possession of marijuana. Bond at $171,000.
Nathan Worthen, 22, Wildwood, sale and possession of marijuana, unlawful use of two way communication device. Bond at $45,000.
Ulyseese Worthen, 21, Wildwood, sale and possession of marijuana. Bond at $40,000.
Josephine Amico, 38, Wildwood, sale and possession of oxycodone, keeping a drug shop. Bond at $60,500.
Wayne Brooks, 43, Oxford, arrested for sale and possession of cocaine, keeping a drug shop and order to commit. No bond.
Sierra Kiser, 23, Coleman, sale and possession of hydrocodone. Bond at $45,000.
James M. Reynolds, 49, Wildwood, arrested for sale and possession of oxycodone, keeping a drug shop. Bond at $60,500.
James Vaughn, 38, Ocklawaha, sale and possession of marijuana, keeping a drug shop. Bond at $40,500.
Melissa Barrs, 36, Wildwood, sale and possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of two way communication device. No bond.
