Chamber names new executive director

The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has moved unanimously to hire Andrew Cripps as its new executive director. Cripps has more than 12 years experience as a chamber executive. He is scheduled to begin his new duties Feb. 28.
In announcing the selection, Chamber President Dawn Cary said, “Andy’s chamber experience and communication skills will be an asset to the Sumter County Chamber of Commerce and we are very excited to have him on board to be a part of the exciting growth opportunities in Sumter County.”
