Kirsti Merritt was feeling a little sad.
Thursday night, Jan. 19, was “Senior Night” and the South Sumter High senior point guard realized she may not have another basketball home game.

She scored 36 points, made four steals, grabbed five rebounds and blocked a shot leading her Raiders to a 53-45 district victory over Mount Dora High at the Raiders’ gym.
