‘Sally’ Carol Armstrong, 79
“Sally” Carol Armstrong, 79, of Webster, Fla., died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at Webster. She was born Nov. 26, 1934, in Portsmouth, Ohio. She attended Wheelersburg Christian Baptist Church in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Mrs. Armstrong was a homemaker who enjoyed cross stitching, watching the Tampa Bay Rays and Nascar, and loved her family more than anything. She is survived by her children, Debra (Charles) Heater of Burksville, Texas, Pam (Rodney) Evans of Jackson, Ohio, Curt (Debra) Armstrong of Hudson, Rodney (Irene) Armstrong of Oxford, Tony (Karen) Armstrong of Lexington, Tenn., Michael Armstrong of Webster, and Marvin (Tamara) Armstrong of Wildwood; 15 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren; six brothers; and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Armstrong; daughter, Brenda Bartee; and sister, Alice Clark. A visitation was at the Purcell Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013. Services followed at 11 a.m., with Dr. Don Manley presiding. Interment took place at Linden Cemetery. Billie Katherine Hinkle, 84
Billie Katherine Hinkle, 84, of Wildwood, Fla., was born Dec. 22, 1928, and died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013. Billie is survived by her son, Monty Hinkle of Wildwood; daughter, Dianne (Jugle) Smith of Leesburg; son, David (Cindi) Hinkle of Wildwood; son, Mark (Maggie) Hinkle of Ocala; son, Michael (Michelle) Hinkle of Wildwood; son, Darren Hinkle of Wildwood. Visitation was Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg. Funeral service were Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at 11 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Wildwood with Reverend Craig Attaway officiating. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Charles Andrew Screws, 58, of Sarasota, Fla., died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at Bushnell. He was born Feb. 17, 1955, in Lake Wales. He is survived by his brother, Michael M. Mary K. Johnson, age 77 of Center Hill, Fla., passed away on Dec. 13, 2013. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker, and is survived by her daughters, Lisa K. Dale Eugene Weltzbarker, 60, of Sumterville, Fla., died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2103, at Sumterville, Fla. He was born Jan. 10, 1953, in Tampa, Fla. He was a caregiver at a nursing home. Mr. Weltzbarker liked to fish and work on his truck. He is survived by his sons, Steven Weltzbarker of Piedmont, Ala., and Chris Robinson of Tampa, Fla.; brothers, Don Weltzbarker of Fort White, Fla., Raymond (Diane) Weltzbarker of Plant City, Fla., and Randy Weltzbarker of Sumterville, Fla.; and two grandsons. A Visitation will be held at the Astatula Town Cemetery on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. Graveside Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Travis Lane presiding.
