If you combine all their years of service to the county, you’d come up with 111 years.
For more than three decades, Ronnie Hawkins has served as the county property appraiser. The same is true for Tom Swain, county tax collector.
Both men were first elected to their positions 36 years ago.
Additionally, Helen Parrett, assistant tax collector is retiring after 26 years of service and Howard Solomon, information technology director, is retiring after 13 years of service for both the property appraiser and tax collector.
