It has happened again. For a second time during a recent election, the percentage of Sumter County voters who actually turned out to vote was the highest in the state.
The recent turnout of Sumter County voters casting ballots in last week’s Presidential Preference Primary was a whopping 60 percent, according to information from the Sumter County Supervisor of Elections office.
