Granville Beville Chapter, 2234, Bushnell United Daughters of Confederacy visit the Orange County Regional History Center in Orlando on May 14. The chapter toured the Civil War exhibit. One of the items seen was a 150 year old doll named Nina that was believed to have been carried by General James Patton Anderson’s niece to smuggle medicine past the Union blockade to help Confederate soldiers during the Civil War. The paper mache’ head was hollowed out for this purpose.
