Voters in some areas of Sumter County may be heading to a different polling site when the next election comes around.
Sumter County Commissioners on Tuesday, May 9, approved a request from Supervisor of Elections William “Bill” Keen to close four precinct sites, merging those and portions of others into existing precincts.
Keen cited changes in voting habits as a prime reason for making the change.
