The Wildwood High girls weightlifters may have paved the way for future success with their work this year.
The five Wildcats took part in the district weightlifting meet Wednesday, Jan. 25 at Mitchell High School.
The Wildcats didn’t qualify anyone for the state meet Feb. 11 in Kissimmee but several of them will likely be coming back next year.
They will undoubtedly want some of the action at the state meet.
The coach, Mark Streit, said at least 10 lifters so they can possibly win some meets.
