It was in the high 30s and still pitch dark outside at 7 a.m., but eager runners and St. Patty’s Day supporters in costume were huddled near Wildwood City Hall for the start of the day. They were ready to take part in the community’s first Ides of March 5K Run.
The brand new city event was hosted by the Wildwood Rotary Club and the Wildwood Athletic Club and drew more than 220 runners for its first ever challenge.
