Wreck claims life on interstate

A Colorado man died Sunday afternoon as the result of a wreck on Interstate 75 in Sumter County.
John R. Hazlett, 73, Centennial, Colo., was driving a 2006 Motorcoach motor home south on I-75 when he lost control of the vehicle after losing pressure in the right front tire, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
The vehicle traveled onto the west outside shoulder of the road and continued until it collided with a tree, according to the report. The accident happened about 3:41 p.m. at the 310.5 milepost.
