April 7, 1962 was a wonderful day for Albert and Marilyn (Crum) Jordan - they were married that day at the First Baptist Church in Bushnell, Sumter County, Florida, where Marilyn’s pioneer family has lived since 1842.
They began their married life in Inverness where Albert was born and raised. He worked for Bob and Norine Gilstrap at Home Furniture Store, and Marilyn began her career with the City of Inverness. After 38 fulfilling years with the city, Marilyn retired in 2003 as city clerk and Albert retired from self employment in his TV antenna business.

Charles and Deborah Smith Jr., 1484 C.R. 318 Bushnell, FL 33513, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Audrey Smith to Kiet Quoc Ngo, son of Tony Ngyuen and Xuan Ngo, 7240 Somersworth Dr., Orlando, FL 32835.
The bride is a digital design academy teacher at Wildwood Middle High School and the groom is a financial counselor at Orlando Health.
The marriage will take place on March 17, 2012 at 1st United Methodist Church of Bushnell.
 

Emily Elizabeth Myers and James Andrew Shuyler have announced their engagement.
The couple plans to wed at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 23rd at the Bushnell Presbyterian Church – the service is open to family and friends who wish to attend.
Myers is the daughter of Lisa Hicks of Leesburg and Ken Myers of Mariposa, Calif.

Sara A. Morris and Douglas G. Stewart of St. Petersburg have announced their engagement and plans for a summer 2012 wedding.
Sara is the daughter of Suzanne and the late Ken Morris of St. Petersburg. Sara is a 2004 graduate of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School, Shawnee, Kansas, and 2008 graduate of Indiana University. She is a Dental Hygienist in Largo.
