Late field goal lets Suwanee take game

The South Sumter High football team’s season ended in heartbreak.
With just 14 seconds left, Suwannee High kicker Trevor Ross booted a 27-yard field goal that gave the Bulldogs a thrilling 24-22 upset victory over South Sumter Friday night at Raiders Field.
Gone in that moment was the Raiders undefeated season and ranking as the top team in Class 5A.
South Sumter ended up 11- for the year and Suwannee is now also 11-1.
With three minutes left, Raider senior running back ran 48 yards for a touchdown to give the Raiders a 22-21 lead.
