This updated composite drawing of the murder victim is based on information that the woman was older than investigators initially believed. She is believed to be somewhere between 50 and 70 years old. The drawing was provided by Erin Kimmerle, forensic anthropologist for the University of South Florida.

Murder victim died of gunshot wound

She died from a gunshot wound.
That’s the latest information that sheriff’s investigators have released as they attempt to determine who murdered an unidentified woman whose body was found near Wildwood.
The woman’s badly decomposed body was discovered on April 22 in woods near State Road 44 and Interstate 75.
Since the discovery, investigators have been trying to uncover the woman’s identity and the person responsible for her murder.
