Ah, Tis Spring.
The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, love is in the air and naturally, and a young man’s fancy turns to – football.
The young men of South Sumter High School are out getting ready for the fall sport with contact drills and conditioning. The coaches are teaching the fundamentals and everyone lives with the Florida heat.
There are 60 young men on the South Sumter High football team.
The ninth graders will make up the junior varsity team.
