Canady hits 28, Wildwood beats South Sumter 61-52

Wildwood High’s Marvel Canady hit 14 fourth quarter points leading the Wildcats to a 61-52 victory over South Sumter High in a boys basketball game Friday, Jan. 15 at Wildwood High’s gym.

Canady led all scorers with 28 points. Scott Hensley added 11 points for the Wildcats.

Wildwood (9-11 overall and 4-4 in district play) avenged an earlier loss to South Sumter (2-10) on Dec. 4.

South Sumter’s Mike McCrimon led the Raiders with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Sean Baker and Terrance Neal both had 11 points.
