  • Animal Clinic Opens

    The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting event at Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital in celebration of the grand opening of the Animal Emergency Clinic. Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary medical office and pet boarding facility located in The Villages. The Animal Emergency Clinic is a new service provided at the clinic that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and holidays. This is the only animal emergency center in The Villages.   • Ribbon Cutting

    The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting at Fab-Tech of Central Florida in celebration of their grand opening. Fab-Tech is full service repair shop located in Bushnell that boasts 12,000 sq ft of work space outfitted with brand new, state of the art equipment. Owners JT Renau and Shannon Kennedy, DVM are proud to staff 5 ASE Certified mechanics who are equipped to handle motors of all sizes.     The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting event in celebration of the grand opening of the new Sumter County Farm Bureau Wildwood office location at 1102 N Main St, Suite A.   • Humane Society Ribbon Cutting

    The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting event in honor of the Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County’s 30th year anniversary celebration. The Humane Society has been leading the charge to end animal cruelty, pet overpopulation, rescuing all types of animals in need and placing them into lifelong caring homes, responding to disasters, and assisting low income residents pet needs in Lake Panasoffkee since 1982.   • Water Tank Ribbon Cutting

    The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting event in celebration of the completion of the new elevated water tower in the City of Bushnell. The City constructed the 750,00 gallon tank through a $1,741,000 loan/grant through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. The water storage tank and related water main extension will service those citizens on the west side of the City.
